My first half marathon. 13.1 miles. The feeling of crossing the finishing line was amazing.

And now, my body is all sorts of hurting.

a day at the races

We decided to escape the dreary rainy SF weather and took a drive to the other side of the bridge for Dollar Sundays at Golden Gate Fields. It seemed only appropriate to dress the part and go decked out in preppy attire. Dollar beer, dollar hotdogs, dollar bets, dollar parking, fun outfits, and fun friends...great way to spend a Sunday.
